Welcome to the Toybox online

The Toybox started life as a traditional, family run toyshop and, having closed our shop in 2008, we moved to our new online store still situated in Bakewell in the heart of the beautiful Derbyshire Peak District.  We have a Grandson called Tom who is chief-tester of all our toys and he and the many excited toddlers and pre-schoolers who visited our shop in Bakewell are our main source of inspiration for the products we stock.

We have included a wide range of quality wooden and soft toys that are educational, safe and fun and our online store includes a hand-picked selection that will suit every age and stage of your child's development. We have a wealth of experience in sourcing our products and we listen carefully to our customers to enusre that our range includes toys that will assist your baby's early development such as baby comforters and grasping toys through to train sets and doll's houses which encourage creative play and set your growing child's imagination free.
