Contract of Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed according to English Law.
Although the Toybox will endeavour to ensure the accuracy of all information made available on the web site, neither the Toybox nor any partners, employees or other representatives will be liable for damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the use of this site. Price and availability information is subject to change without notice. All prices quoted include VAT at current UK rate. All goods remain the property of the Toybox until paid for in full. By purchasing a product you are agreeing to the above terms and conditions. None of the above affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Refunds & Cancellations
At the Toybox we want you to be delighted every time you shop with us. Occasionally though, we know you may want to return items. Further, under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of your items within 7 working days of delivery - beginning the day after the day of receipt of goods. Goods do not have to be returned within this period for you to secure a refund, but should be returned within 28 days. This applies to all of our products.

The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations require that the consumer provides written notice of cancellation within the 7 working days. Goods do not have to be returned within this period for the consumer to secure a refund. A refund must be made within 30 days of cancellation, irrespective of whether goods have been returned at this stage. If goods have not been returned, where requested by a supplier, the supplier is entitled to make a charge to reflect the cost of collecting goods from the consumer and deduct this from the refund.
For your protection, we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service. Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error. If we do not receive the item back from you, we may arrange for collection of the item from your residence at your cost. You should be aware that, once we begin the delivery process, you will not be able to cancel any contract you have with us for services carried out by us (for example: postage+ packing and credit card fees) unless the reason for return is due to an error on our part where we will refund the full costs. As soon as we receive notice of your cancellation of this order, we will refund the relevant part of the purchase price for that item.

All complaints will be acknowledged within 5 working days of receipt. Customers will be kept informed of progress by e-mail and/or telephone. It is our intention to resolve complaints within 2 weeks of receipt, however in some cases this may be dependant on third parties. In all cases we will endeavour to resolve complaints speedily, fairly and effectively.
All correspondence will be conducted in the strictest confidence.
We check our complaints procedures regularly to ensure that it is working well and improving. We also encourage feedback to help us improve our overall service.
Warranty & Returns
All products carry a 12 month warranty, unless otherwise specified on the website alongside the product. The warranty on all products, unless otherwise stated, is ‘return to base’ and valid for a period of 12 months from date of delivery. If during this period, the Toybox is notified of any fault in any product, due to either faulty design or a defect in manufacturing or materials, the Toybox will replace or repair the product, depending upon the nature of the fault. The Toybox may also, at its own discretion, refund the purchase price of the faulty product. Proof of purchase must accompany any returned product. The Toybox must be notified of the faulty product prior to it being returned. The cost of returning the product will be borne by the customer unless otherwise agreed by the Toybox. The warranty does not cover wear & tear, accidental or willful damage. Your statutory rights are not affected.
